Aleksander Aamodt Kilde skis to victory in outstanding manner
Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) wins after the Super-G on Friday also the downhill on Saturday. The likeable Norwegian can therefore be celebrated as a double winner in Wengen. He showed a clean run from top to bottom with bib number 6. No other skier came close to his time of 1:43.14. Marco Odermatt (SUI) was 88 hundredths behind in second place. Mattia Casse (ITA) completed the podium with a gap of 1.01.
Beat Feuz was duly celebrated at the finish line in his last appearance in Wengen. With his time of 1:44.39 he finished in a good 5th place.
